Mould making and design

Moulds can be manufactured to produce single or multiple components, using high quality pre-toughened steels, through hardening steels for extra life and high tensile aluminium for short runs and prototype work. A highly polished finish can be achieved, surface texture added by chemical etching or spark erosion and your company logos or other text engraved for identification.

You will have access to three CAD workstations running Solidworks, Autodesk, Delcam and Gibbs software, allowing us to directly import your own CAD data or produce detail drawings and three dimensional models from your initial sketches, ideas and product specifications.Three dimensional data can be sent to most rapid prototyping systems (enabling the creation of accurate component models and test pieces in a short time) or to a variety of analysis packages for pre-production proving. If you need any advice during initial design stages with respect to material selection, component detail and design to optimise mould manufacture, please contact us at the address given.
